Charla Aldous, Eleanor Aldous Featured on the Keep It Legal Podcast

The Keep It Legal podcast featured firm founder Charla Aldous and trial lawyer Eleanor Aldous for a special Mother’s Day episode that highlights their relationship and recent $71.95 million jury verdict in Dallas County.

The mother-daughter duo was part of the trial team, along with Brent Walker and Caleb Miller of Aldous\Walker and Kevin Queenan and Carlos Lopez of the Queenan Law Firm, that represented the family of a Texas electrician who was killed in a workplace accident a Frito-Lay factory in Irving. The electrician fell 30 feet to his death when the scissor lift he was work on was struck by a boom lift operating nearby. Jurors awarded $71.95 million to the victim’s widow and four children, finding subcontractor Walker Engineering 65 percent liable for the incident and its subsidiary 35 percent liable, making Walker Engineering responsible for the full award under Texas law.
