Fourth Consecutive Year on the Rising Stars™ List
The 2011 Texas Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠ list is comprised of the leading young attorneys in the state of Texas. Attorney Walker achieved his spot on the list for the fourth consecutive year—having been mentioned in every list of Texas Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠ since 2007. This year, he was chosen because of his excellence in the area of personal injury litigation.

The Texas Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠ Selection Process
Texas Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠ is a product of the Thomson Reuters’ Legal division. In order to select the best young lawyers for the annual list, researchers request recommendations from other established lawyers. Nominees must be under 41 years of age, having practiced for no more than 10 years. All of the applicants are then surveyed by a panel of experienced attorneys.
Less than 2.5% of all lawyers who are eligible for the title receive mention in the list of Texas Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠. It is a big honor and for Mr. Walker to have received this honor four years in a row points to his ability, dedication, and professional excellence. Brent Walker has experience in broad range of cases. His experience includes courtroom litigation and appellate work. After graduating from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, he went on to earn his J.D. from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
