My grandmother wasn’t a lawyer, but she should have been. The lessons I learned from her have shaped the way I do my job. She taught me that the truth is priceless — always tell it and stand up for it. Go the extra mile for people. Never meet a stranger — everyone has a story if you just give them an opportunity to tell it. No one is perfect, but we all have the obligation to take responsibility for mistakes.
As a trial attorney at Aldous \ Walker, I integrate these lessons into everything I do, from protecting my clients and the truth of their cases, to making sure I accurately convey their stories. I want my clients to know that I am fiercely dedicated to righting wrongs and making sure their voice is heard in court.
My legal career first took me to a small firm that handled a wide range of cases. During these early years in my career, I was afforded the opportunity to become familiar with all sorts of cases in courts throughout Texas and New Mexico. Some of these cases included trucking accidents, medical malpractice, business litigation, and various serious injury cases. Before joining Aldous \ Walker, I represented victims in product liability cases across the country. In this work, I was able to glean knowledge of many different states’ courts and laws, as well as invaluable insight into a client’s needs.
While every client and every case is different, my approach to each one is the same: Stand up for the truth. Go above and beyond. Get to know the people and their stories. That's what my grandmother taught me, and it's what I do.
While sadly I cannot go back in time and undo the hurt my clients have suffered, or the pain they may still feel, I can fight with them to secure justice on their behalf. That is what drives my practice. When you need an ally, our firm is here to help.
