Charla Aldous Honored as the Louise B. Raggio Award Recipient from the Dallas Women Lawyers Association

The Dallas Women Lawyers Association (DWLA), a nonprofit organization that elevates the standing of women in the legal profession, has presented its annual Louise B. Raggio Award to Charla Aldous, founding partner of the Aldous\Walker law firm. With this award, she joins an elite group of female honorees who have shaped the current practice of law for women in Dallas.

The prestigious Raggio Award is named for the DWLA co-founder and Dallas legal pioneer Louis B. Raggio, who was the first female prosecutor in Dallas County. The award is presented each year to someone who demonstrates the highest levels of professionalism while making significant contributions to the advancement of women attorneys.

In presenting the award, the DWLA recognized Ms. Aldous for her passionate client advocacy and her fight to give a voice to “the little guy,” who very often is a woman.

Of course, we could have Charla talk about herself, but we thought you might instead benefit from hearing from her law partner, Brent Walker and her clients, Isabella Fletcher, Nina Pham and Sarah Milburn.
