Aldous \ Walker Shows Support for HIE Awareness Month 2019

Aldous \ Walker has earned a national reputation for our work handling some of the most legally and emotionally difficult cases in the civil justice system. That includes birth injury cases involving medical malpractice – as well as Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, or HIE.

With April being HIE Awareness Month, our legal team would like to express our support for this amazing cause, and help spread awareness about the support available for children and families facing this life-altering diagnosis.

About HIE Awareness Month

HIE Awareness Month is a coordinated global initiative designed to educate people about HIE, a form of infant brain damage that’s can cause permanent impairment and a lifetime of physical, emotional, and financial challenges.

Organized by Hope for HIE, the world’s leading HIE-oriented non-profit, this year’s month-long campaign has its own theme: Hope Never Ends.

As part of the Hope Never Ends campaign, Hope for HIE is encouraging families, friends, and anyone who wants to show their support for those living with HIE to get involved and spread awareness. If you’re looking to take part in spreading the word this month, you can do so by:

  • Using a variety of free resources from Hope for HIE to learn more about HIE, share facts and resources, and engage in meaningful discussions or community-organized events;
  • Sharing customizable social posts and images online that help create awareness of HIE among your social network;
  • Tagging #HOPEneverends on your Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook posts to engage in the online community;

You can find social media tools, informational resources, and printable materials to use this month by visiting Hope for HIE’s website.
