Family Files Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against Greyhound Lines, Inc.

Aldous \ Walker LLP is currently representing the family of a 25-year-old man who was struck and killed by a Greyhound bus in June of this year.

"Our son had a future ahead of him," say Paula Becker and Barry Brown, the parents of Hunter Brown, who died after being run over. "That future was taken away from him and from us because of the careless actions of the driver and Greyhound."

The lawsuit alleges that the Greyhound bus driver drove for an excessively long time that day, and was not adequately rested. It also states that the driver began pulling away from the bus stop before its scheduled departure time. As the bus began its departure, Hunter ran towards the bus while pleading with the driver to led him on board. The lawsuit states that the driver turned the bus towards Hunter and ran him over.

"This death was 100 percent preventable," said Charla Aldous, who represents Hunter Brown's parents. "Hunter trusted Greyhound and its bus driver to safely transport him from Seattle to San Francisco. That didn't happen."
